  1. The fact that this motion picture production is using live vocals is groundbreaking. Having been in the orchestra pit for stage musicals before I am able to appreciate the genuity of an actors performance in the moment and as a musician can help capture that emotion through the accompiament. Its powerful.
With that being said, my favorite selction is ‘I Dreamed A Dream’. I am excited to hear Anne Hathaway really dig deep to the core meaning of this song and feel what it really is a to dream a dream.

  2. My favorite song from the show is “A Little Fall of Rain”… the emotion and suspense of Éponine’s death in this one song is proof that music is always stronger than words. The lyrics are pure and simple, but convey so much passional depth for the characters of Éponine and Marius that the audience has seen since the beginning of the show. They both had their own ‘heart full of love.’ they just didn’t know it, and this song does that for them. Break a leg to all who enter! 😀

  3. My answer will probably change at different times, but right now I’d say “I Dreamed a Dream.” I can’t wait to hear Anne Hathaway’s version in the film, since it sounds brilliant from what I’ve heard.
