Eyeing Broadway…

Adam Pascal of Rent fame is looking at pulling together a team of big hitters to help adapt the Queensrÿche album Operation: Mindcrime into a Broadway musical. “Throughout the years, I’ve envisioned how this can be turned into a real musical, a book musical,” said Pascal. The concept album is not nearly as specific as [The Who’s] ‘Tommy.’ It’s told in very broad strokes, so that it allows me a tremendous amount of freedom to create a story.” Never heard of the album (honestly, we hadn’t) – check it out on iTunes – it’s pretty fantastic and we can totally see Pascal at the helm of a stage version!
