It’s a sad day on Broadway. Producers just announced that the critically acclaimed Avenue Q will close its run at the John Golden Theatre on September 13, 2009.
When it closes, the Tony-award winning Best Musical will have played 22 previews and 2,534 performances.
If you haven’t seen it yet – get your tickets now or forever regret it.
“We will miss our furry friends on 45th Street but are very proud of their longevity.” – Goodman, producer
