Talk show host Jerry Springer will be joining the cast of Broadway’s Chicago as lawyer Billy Flynn from August 18 – September 6. He has already played the part in London and will go on to play the role in the Atlanta and Philadelphia versions of Chicago after his stint on Broadway.
“I get the character of Billy Flynn,” Mr. Springer said of playing the role. “He’s a flamboyant Chicago attorney. I’m an attorney, I did a television show in Chicago, and my public personality is pretty flamboyant. But for his ethical lapses, there are similarities.”
