AWARDS SEASON 2017: Tony Award Nominees

The list of Tony noms is in and we couldn’t be more excited! Natasha, Pierre And The Great Comet Of 1812 is at the head of the nominee pack, with 12 nominations, followed by Hello, Dolly!, with 10. The most coveted prize will be a showdown between Come From AwayDear Evan HansenGroundhog Dayand Natasha, Pierre And The Great Comet Of 1812

The ceremony will take place on June 11, 8 PM EST (delayed for PT) at Radio City Musical Hall, much of which will be broadcast on CBS. This year’s host will be Kevin Spacey (“I was their 2nd choice for Usual Suspects, 4th choice for American Beauty and 15th choice to host this year’s Tony Awards. I think my career is definitely going in the right direction.”), a slightly different direction from the song-and-dance-men who’ve led the shows in the past few years, but ooo boy, are we expecting some political comedy…
