The ceremony will be happening on September 26, but like many things COVID-related, it won’t quite be what we’re used to. Most of the awards will be broadcast via the streaming platform Paramount+ beginning at 7 p.m. ET, followed by a bigger CBS concert special called “Broadway’s Back!” beginning at 9 p.m. ET, featuring performances from the nominated Moulin Rouge!, Jagged Little Pill and Tina — The Tina Turner Musical and ending with the big prizes of the evening: Best Musical, Best Play and Best Revival of a Play.
However it happens, we here at BMH couldn’t be more excited for the nominees to get some closure, and to put this pandemic behind us…
