The first set of winners are in!

The Theatre World Awards has announced the 12 honorees for best Broadway or Off-Broadway debut, and that newbee Nicholas Barasch will take home the Dorothy Loudon prize and Bernadette Peters the lifetime achievement award.

Many of these actors got nods from other awards committees, but will they be able to beat out the veterans in their categories there?

The Tony Award nominees are announced tomorrow! Follow all of our award coverage and don’t miss a thing this year.

2016 Dorothy Loudon Award for Excellence in the Theater Winner

 Nicholas Barasch, for her performance as Arpad Lazslo in She Loves Me

2016 John Willis Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre Winner
