AWARDS SEASON 2016: Drama League Award Winners

The Drama League Award winners are in and Hamilton grabbed the outstanding production award, plus one for creator/actor Lin-Manuel Miranda. (The show lost out to An American in Paris in last year when it played Off-Broadway, so the win has to feel like some sort of extra redemption for the creative team.) The winning revival was surprisingly not She Loves Me, which has been winning everywhere else, but rather The Color Purple. A sign of what’s to come with the remaining awards? We’ll just have to wait and see. Congrats to all winners!
